Our property is set on seven acres of lush grounds with a one acre lake, wrap around porches, high ceilings with stunning chandeliers, old-world splendor and southern charm, Lake House is perfect for your wedding ceremony and/or reception, seminar, rehearsal dinner, luncheon, tea party, brunch or any other special event.

 Houmas House Estate and Gardens is a stunning setting for memorable weddings. From grand ceremonies and receptions to the most intimate elopements, our event liaison will ensure every detail is perfect.

With several indoor venues to choose from, both small and large weddings can be accommodated.  Outdoor ceremonies beneath the oak alley and with the Houmas Mansion as a backdrop, provide picture perfect moments.

 Nestled amongst the farm life, The Greenery is a greenhouse conservatory with lots of natural lighting, sun panels in the roof, indoor landscaping, brick walls, and did we mention...it’s climate controlled.  It inclusive options providing catering, bar services, as well as décor.   Along the front is a picturesque outdoor ceremony space with white pews and brick aisle.  

 The Berry Barn would be perfect for your wedding ceremony and reception and has a capacity for up to 300 guests. Your outdoor ceremony can be held behind the barn on the lawn. Guests can look on from custom built seating as you say "I do" under a classic arbor dressed in romantic string lighting and chandeliers. Evening receptions are held in The Berry Barn, which is transformed to exude charm and refined romance. This spacious barn is decorated with customized wagon wheel chandeliers, string lights, and wooden ceiling beams. This event space also includes a staging area for entertainment, a built-in bar, and is climate-controlled. There is ample parking on the estate with a scenic sidewalk leading to the venue.
